Love It: Instagram Will Let Users Switch Among Accounts

Community managers everywhere will rejoice, as starting this week, we will be able to easily and quickly switch MobileSocial accounts on Instagram without signing out.

This most-requested Instagram feature, will have us avoid the hassle that comes with logging in and out every time we want to post a photo or check a notification.

Other network, such as Twitter added the feature a long time ago, but the Facebook-owned company tested the feature for months on iOS and Android before making it an addition to its app.

But there is one catch, we can only switch among five accounts; and the account switching option is available solely for those of us  using the  version 7.15 of Instagram for iOS and Android.

You can see the option appear in the app’s settings. To see if you have it, go to your Instagram profile page, click “Settings,” then look for the “Add Account” option. From there, you can tap your username at the top of your profile to switch between accounts.

Once you have multiple accounts added, you’ll see your profile photo appear in places throughout the app so you can always tell which one you’re using at the moment.
